Pattern Review: Simplicity 8013

Don't Let Your Dreams stay Dreams..

Hi Everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far.. Guess what! I FINALLY started a YouTube channel. Woot woot lol.. It's been a long time coming. I've been wanting to start one but was a bit scared and nervous of putting myself out there in a video form. Also, I wasn't sure which way I'd like to take my channel and I'm still not sure.. But I'm going to try and post as I can and see where it goes.

I've actually posted a couple of video already, which some of you have given me feedback and encouragement on. Thank you for that! :) The whole process is kind of fun for me. And I found out that I enjoy editing a lot. Any who, instead of a written Pattern Review, I have done a recorded version for you guys.. Please Subscribe, Like, Comment, and Share. And also let me know what you'd like to see more of, on my channel. Enjoy..

  8. I hope you are still reading comments. I need you!!! I love your version of the dress so much, I got this pattern to make my wedding dress. I'd watched your video and thought you looked so beautiful! So, I set out to find the perfect borderprint wedding fabric, which I bought extra hearing how you ran out of fabric. I want to make it slightly longer, but not floor length. Im using the other style sleeves, and I'd like the scalloped lace border to run along the skirt hemline and sleeve henline, although won't actually be hemmed. But, after getting out the pattern, I see it's a rounded skirt, and of course a straight scalloped border! How did you cut it out to get your border to run evenly?. Please help! I have $325 invested in fact Ric, and I can't figure out how to get it to turn out right. Im not a newbie, and I've seen wedding dresses for other people! I've just never been faced with this problem. What do I need to do?

  9. Hi! I saw your YouTube video and I need a bit of help! I’m in a sewing/apparel class in Highschool and am doing this dress. What did you do for the soft pleats in the bodice? Thank you :)
