Purple Pleats

I made this skirt for the Super Thursday: In Full Bloom event, held at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore (Blog Post coming really soon). I actually made it the morning before the event because I couldn't think of anything else to wear. I'm starting to think that Purple is my new favorite color. Seems like I've been making a lot of garments in purple lately and I've been attracted to purple garments.

Below is the Pattern Review for the pleated skirt. For those that are interested in purchasing the skirt, I've made another one in a Size Medium (waist measurement 29" or 30"). Click Here to Purchase

Pattern Review (M6706)

Description: Skirts have waistband, pleats, side hook & eye and zipper closing. Narrow hem.

Fabric Used: Polyester Gabardine Suraline Purple Fabric from Hancock Fabrics

Pattern Sizing: I cut out the pattern size 12. I wanted more room to tuck in my top.

Were the Instructions easy to follow? Very Easy to follow.. Great for beginners.

Likes or Dislikes about the Pattern: I like that it's pattern instructions are easy and I also love the length of the pattern. It was perfect for my height and I did not not have to make any adjustments.

Pattern Alterations or Design Changes made: None.

Would you Sew it again? I've already made 2, so yes! I will be making more. Awesome closet builder.
