Yetunde's 2015 Year in Review
Top 10 memorable moments in 2015
Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was great, spent it with family. One of the best part of Christmas for me was watching my niece and nephew open their gifts.. I think they were excited about opening the gifts more than they were about the actual gifts. Lol
Anyway, I was at home last week reflecting on 2015 and how amazing this year has been. There were a lot of new (firsts) and amazing things that happened this year. And the best part is that most of these things were not even planned and happened unexpectedly. All I can do is Thank God for opening doors and allowing me to experience 2015 like I did.

So here are my 10 memorable moments in 2015 to reflect on..
1. Natural Hair Photoshoot: In January of this year, I had the opportunity to shoot with a Baltimore photographer named Kel B. The photoshoot was for a Natural Hair Portrait Project he was working on.
2. Store Opening - YS Collection: In February, I opened my online store, www.YetundeSarumi.com. Yay!! Finally, I know. Since then, it has grown tremendously. I started with only 3 items and currently carry 12 items.... and working on more items for spring. ;)
3. Epic Engagement Photoshoot: Planned by my talented brother, Tunji Sarumi Studio, Ola and I's engagement shoot was breathtaking. Definitely something we've never seen or experienced before. I had my dress made by a local designer, Zoe Arku.
7. Honeymoon - Greece: Ola and I went to Greece (Athens & Santorini) for the first time. While we were trying to figure out where to go on our honeymoon, I told him that I don't really care to go to somewhere that has a beach (like the Caribbean). I'd rather go somewhere I can explore.. somewhere with history. He chose Greece.. :)
Thank you all for sticking with me in 2015. I'm excited to see what 2016 will bring.. I'm projecting more international travels, lots of sewing, and connecting more with you all. :)
Have a Happy New Year guys.. xo
