SLIDER

Lush Green Pullover Dress

This is the first garment I made for myself this year (2014). Many more to come.. ;) In addition to Pretty Girls Sew monthly Sew- Along challenges, I will try to make one thing (for myself) a month. We'll see how that goes.

Pattern Review (M6553)

Description: Very loose-fitting, pullover dress has princess seams, self-lined yoke back, side openings for self belt, back pleats, neck slit with button/thread loop closing, and shaped hemline.

Fabric Used: Gabardine fabric from Hancock Fabrics.

Pattern Sizing: I cut out a size 6..

Were the Instructions easy to follow? Extremely easy.. A beginner would be able to make it.

Likes or Dislikes about the Pattern: I love the side openings for the belt.. and the back is beautiful. I absolutely love the pleats in the back. I have no dislikes.

Pattern Alterations or Design Changes made: No Alterations or Changes.

Would you Sew it again? YES!!! I want it in every color.. I'll probably make one in the summer with a lighter fabric.

Have a Blessed Week Everyone!

  1. I totally love this! I made this sometime last year, but as a kaftan in Chiffon. Thumbs up!
