This is the first swimsuit I've ever made.. Yay Me! Lol To my surprise, it wasn't that difficult and didn't take too long to make. From the above picture, I made View C (string bra top has lined cups, self-fabric ties and shoulder straps) and View E (boy-cut panties have partial lining on the front, and waist and leg openings are finished with elastic).
Pattern Review (KS3239)
Pattern Description: Misses' mix and match swimwear.
Fabric Used: Zebra Print Activewear Knit (Bra Top) and Stretch Nylon Rib Knit (Bottoms)
Pattern Sizing: I cut out a Size Small.
Were the Instructions easy to follow? Yes.
Likes or Dislikes about the Pattern: I'm not really used to Kwik Sew Patterns, but this pattern wasn't too bad. They explained everything down to the types of stitches to use.
Pattern Alterations or Design Changes made: None made.. I used the same fabric from the bottom as my lining and ties.
Would you Sew it again? Yes, I'm thinking about making the high-cut bottoms (View D) next time.
Hi There
ReplyDeleteLooks great! The patterned fabric top looks good too. I love making swimwear for myself and my GF as well.
